Below is an article from the McFarland Thistle about the second anniversary of THE DIAMOND BOUTIQUE:

DB to celebrate 2nd anniversary

The Diamond Boutique in McFarland is celebrating its 2nd anniversary Oct. 23-27. Cyndi Reichenberger and Jeff Way are a local couple that decided to start their own jewelry business in McFarland.

They want to share their success with the community by holding an anniversary celebration, which will benefit the local food pantry.

“It hardly seems like it’s been two years already since we’ve opened,” said Reichenberger. “Time seems to fly by when you’re busy, and we’ve been quite busy and have a lot to celebrate.”

The celebration will include the 2nd annual remount event where customers can pick from a variety of semi-mounts to give their existing rings a new look.

Continuing their support of the community, 5 percent of each remount purchase will go to the McFarland Food Pantry.

“So we’d like everyone to join in the drive, and bring a donated item,” said Reichenberger. “This will be a yearly event where the community can come and look around and if they are interested in making a purchase, 5 percent of that will go to a good cause benefiting those right here in McFarland.”

To culminate the anniversary celebration, there will be a drawing. The grand prize is for a custom Diamond Boutique ring. Also to be given away is a diamond pendant and a $200 DB (Diamond Boutique) gift certificate.

Way designs and makes much of the jewelry sold in the store. Recently purchased equipment enables the store to build 100 percent of their custom work on the premises.

“We are very fortunate,” said Cyndi. “How fun is it to make jewelry for your neighbors. We create family heirlooms.”

“We are building our custom stock,” said Jeff.

“The demand for custom work is such now that we have to have it on hand,” said Cyndi.

“Engagement rings are usually more personal for us –doing this for our neighbor’s kids makes us feel like we are part of the family.”

The DB supports community organizations including the McFarland Education Foundation, the McFarland Fire Department, McFarland Youth Hockey, Christ the King HarfestFest, golf to cure childhood diabetes and
Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

The Diamond Boutique, located on Highway 51 next to The McFarland State Bank provides fine jewelry, custom design, repair work and appraisals.
